The Six Ability Scores
Strength: Physical power, melee attacks, Athletics checks
Dexterity: Agility, AC, ranged attacks, Stealth and Acrobatics
Constitution: Endurance, hit points, concentration saves
Intelligence: Reasoning, memory, Arcana and Investigation
Wisdom: Awareness, intuition, Perception and Insight
Charisma: Force of personality, Persuasion and Deception
Ability Modifiers
Ability modifiers are calculated as: (Score - 10) / 2, rounded down
A score of 10-11 gives +0 modifier. Each 2 points above 10 increases the modifier by 1. Standard array: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8.
