Dart
Darts are small, aerodynamic projectiles consisting of a pointed tip and weighted body, designed for throwing. At just 5 copper pieces each, they're the cheapest ranged weapon option in the game. While their 1d4 damage is modest, darts are lightweight, inexpensive, and work with Dexterity, making them excellent backup weapons for spellcasters and Dex-based characters.

Mechanics
Damage: 1d4 piercing. Ranged weapon attack using Dexterity modifier. Range: 20/60 feet. Darts use Dexterity for attack and damage rolls. As a simple weapon, almost every class has proficiency with darts. The Finesse property allows the damage to scale with your Dex modifier. Unlike daggers, darts are purely ranged weapons and cannot be used in melee.
