Half-elves combine what some say are the best qualities of their elf and human parents. They have human curiosity, inventiveness, and ambition tempered by elven refined senses, love of nature, and artistic tastes. Walking in two worlds but truly belonging to neither, half-elves combine the best features of both races. They live about 180 years and mature at the same rate as humans.
