Arcane Recovery

<p><strong>Once per day</strong> when you finish a <strong>short rest</strong>, you can recover expended spell slots. A 3rd level wizard recovering a 2nd level slot effectively gets 50% more Web or Misty Step casts per day.</p> <p><strong>Mid Levels (5-10):</strong> Use Arcane Recovery to refresh your workhorse spells like Fireball or Counterspell. Don't save it for the "perfect moment" - use it during your first short rest.</p> <p><strong>Higher Levels (11+):</strong> The 5th-level slot cap starts to feel limiting. Prioritize recovering multiple lower-level slots for utility spells like Shield and Absorb Elements.</p> <p><strong>Pro Tip:</strong> Coordinate with your party to take short rests. Arcane Recovery is only useful if your party actually rests - communicate your resource needs!</p>
