Resilient
Complete guide to the Resilient feat in D&D 5e. Gain proficiency in a saving throw and round up an odd ability score for improved survivability.
Benefit
You increase one ability score by 1 and gain proficiency in saving throws using that ability, significantly improving your defenses.
Mechanics
Resilient is a half-feat that improves both your ability scores and saving throws: **Ability Score Increase:** Choose one ability score. You increase that score by 1, to a maximum of 20. **Saving Throw Proficiency:** You gain proficiency in saving throws using the chosen ability. **Common Choices:** - **Resilient (Constitution):** Most popular choice for concentration saves and general survivability - **Resilient (Wisdom):** Excellent for avoiding mind control, charm, and fear effects - **Resilient (Dexterity):** Strong for avoiding fireballs and other AoE damage **Important Details:** - You can only take this feat once per ability score - Proficiency bonus applies to all saves with that ability - Works best with odd ability scores (13→14 gains you +1 modifier) - Stacks with other features that improve saves (Aura of Protection, Bless, etc.)
